By placing an order with Lynq, you agree to the following terms:
1. NFC Compatibility
While our NFC cards are compatible with most modern smartphones, Lynq cannot be held responsible if a device fails to read the NFC chip. All cards are rigorously tested before dispatch to ensure full functionality. Please note that card performance may degrade over time due to misuse, damage, or wear and tear, which is not covered under defect claims.
2. Shipping
All prices listed exclude shipping. Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout or quoted separately. Lynq ships via trackable couriers to ensure delivery transparency. Once dispatched, Lynq is not liable for any loss, damage, or delays during shipping. We will provide tracking details and assist where possible, but responsibility for goods in transit rests with the courier. International shipping availability and restrictions will be specified at the time of purchase.
3. Proofing and Approval
A digital proof of your engraving layout will be provided before production. It is your responsibility to check all details carefully. Once approved, Lynq is not liable for any errors or omissions in the engraving, including spelling, layout, or design elements. Any corrections after engraving will require a new card to be ordered at the standard price of R550.
4. Profile Updates
Your digital profile can be edited after purchase. Updates may be subject to an administrative fee of R120. Changes to engraved details cannot be made on the physical card. A new card must be purchased if engraving needs to change. Please be aware that the information displayed on your digital profile is publicly accessible to anyone who scans your card or visits your profile link. Lynq takes reasonable steps to ensure platform security and prevent misuse, but cannot guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access or misuse of publicly available information. You accept the risk of public visibility and agree that Lynq is not liable for any consequences arising from the misuse of publicly visible data. You are responsible for the content you upload or link to your Lynq profile. Lynq does not review or monitor content and cannot be held liable for any misuse, offensive material, or external link consequences.
5. Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom nature of each card, returns or refunds are not accepted unless the item is proven to be defective on arrival. Defective cards will be replaced or refunded at Lynq’s discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lynq shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of business, personal data breaches, or missed opportunities.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
